Working at Players
Last Friday, Feb 18th, Phil, my boss from when I worked at Natalie's, called me and asked if I wanted to come work Security for him at Players Club where he is the manager. I told him I'd call him back. After praying about it, I decided to work for him. I called Jordan Landing Security and told them I was quitting. I started working at Players that night.
Later that night I found out that someone had been shot outside of the club the night before. The shooting wasn't related to any incident inside of the club. The person who shot the guy had heard he was at the club. He waited outside for him and then shot him in the stomach 2 times with a .22. The guy who got shot lived.
I work at Players 4 days/week - Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday. Brandy is the hostess there. She was the hostess at Natalie's when I ran Security there. She's good at her job. She's a tough little lady.
On Sunday, Phil and I saw Constantine (2nd time for me) and Million Dollar Baby. I give Million Dollar Baby 3.5 out of 5 stars. It wasn't your typical boxing movie.
Over the past month, I've watched the 3rd season of 24 on DVD through my subscription to Blockbuster Online. It was really good. The story is great and the actors are awesome. I'm looking forward to Season 4.

Our Deepest Fear
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate - our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure."I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. Here's what's been going on:-Timo Cruz
Coach Carter
- I got fired from Green Street. I asked the manager, Angela, to open the dance floor on a Sunday; she agreed to open it; the next day Lang called me and said that the the regional manager said that I was fired for bothering Angela about opening the dance floor (I only asked her one time!). It's their loss.
- I moved to West Jordan, UT to live with Jeff, one of the bouncers at Green Street. He's a cool guy.
- I quit working at GoodGame. West Jordan is too far from downtown S.L.C.
- I got hired by Jordan Landing Security (Jordan Landing is a shopping complex in West Jordan).
- I signed-up with Blockbuster Online and GameFly.
- I watched Coach Carter. I give it 5 (out of 5) stars. I really like the song, Hope by Twista featuring Faith Evans, from the soundtrack for Coach Carter. I also saw Hide and Seek I give it 2.5 (out of 5) stars.

Terrorists are Cowards
Mudville Gazette referred me to a post on Mohammed & Omar's IraqTheModel Blogspot. Here's an excerpt:
I strongly believe that terrorists are cowards but the cowardice you’re going to see in this story is just exceptional. The suicide attack that was performed on an election center in one of Baghdad's districts (Baghdad Al-Jadeedah) last Sunday was performed using a kidnapped "Down Syndrome" patient. Eye witnesses said (and I'm quoting one of my colleagues; a dentist who lives there) "the poor victim was so scared when ordered to walk to the searching point and began to walk back to the terrorists. In response the criminals pressed the button and blew up the poor victim almost half way between their position and the voting center's entrance".These terrorists are cowards in the ultimate sense of the word. They kidnap a handicap person and force him to be a suicide bomber. This is as cowardly as a person can be!
